The decor and equipment of the café was very surprising. You feel like you have been transported to another time. Many pictures and graphics by various artists can be admired on the walls. In the café you serve yourself. The cake is homemade and very tasty. The toilet is in a building a few steps from the café. Tip!

I discovered the café in the book “52 escapades on the Mecklenburg Lake District” and I have to say that the cake is not dubbed the best 100km away for nothing. I have never eaten such a good poppy seed and sour cream cake. The staff is competent, friendly, gives tips for excursions in the area and generally goes to great lengths. Very nice staff, lots of seating, unfortunately the cakes are below average. I have since tried 5 different cakes and I am seriously wondering if I am the only one who doesn't like them. They are ok, but nothing more. A cheesecake that has a pudding consistency? There will be better cakes in almost every household ... Maybe the baker should try his own cakes ...
